Mods not downloading steam workshop ck2

Hello, I seem to have a problem downloading mods from the workshop. They say that they are subscribed but do not show up in the menu nor the mod folder. I went and checked my settings and nothing should be preventing this download. I checked my download folder and it does say that they were downloaded, and yet they do not show up. okt. kl. most mods from reputable sources are going to be fine. steam workshop or sites like moddb and other popular mod sites. if some guy just gives you a shady download link and says to try his new mod though that may not always be safe but generally you shouldnt worry too much as long as you use common sense when downloading.
